Presented By: Dr. Teresa Piliouras, CEO, founded TCR in 1986. TCR offers cybersecurity consulting and training for NIST SP 800-171 compliance. Dr. Piliouras, holds a BS from the University of Illinois, a MBA from Iona College, and a PhD in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from New York University Tandon School of Engineering.  Previously, she was a professor of Computer Science and Management of Technology at New York University Tandon School of Engineering, and a visiting Professor of Computer Science at Iona College. She held senior technical and management positions at PepsiCo, ITT, Boehringer Ingelheim, and Pitney Bowes. She holds numerous patents in the field of cybersecurity. She is author, co-author or editor of 12 textbooks, and has written over 100 scientific and industry publications. She is currently engaged in collaboration with colleagues in government, academia, and industry world-wide.

Dr. Piliouras has received numerous achievement awards, to name a few: Connecticut Technology Council – Tech Company to Watch Innovation Award (2008, 2009, 2010, 2014); Connecticut Technology Council – Woman of Innovation (2008, 2009, 2010, 2013); IEEE Long Island Systems Applications and Technologies – Keynote Best Paper Award (2016); and the American Society of Engineering Education (ASEE)– Best Conference Paper Award (2014) and the ASEE Distinguished Lecture Award (2016).
